Azarus Overlay Games Shine at EVO 2024
We’re excited to share that our interactive overlay games achieved record engagement during the Evolution Championship Series (EVO) tournament.
The EVO tournament took place at the Las Vegas Convention Center from July 19 to July 2,1 2024, and brought together fighting games fans and esports players from around the world. As the largest esports tournament ever, it hosted 10,265 competitors and 62,000+ attendees on-site, with viewers across the globe tuning in to its live streams.
During the event’s Twitch livestream, Azarus hosted Rock-Paper-Scissors competitions and trivia games featuring questions directly related to the tournament, allowing viewers to engage with the event in real time.
Viewers of the stream had the opportunity to win prizes such as PlayStation Plus Premium Vouchers and EVO Online Merch Vouchers by interacting with our overlay games. Our Rock-Paper-Scissors (RPS) competition, where players faced off against the EVO RPS Champion in real time, reached an impressive 51% engagement rate. Overall, our game sessions attracted 74,000 players and distributed 4,200 reward codes.
